Spring in Sudbury, Massachusetts was a very wet and rainy affair, creating ideal conditions for photographs as well as frizzy hair! Grabbing my camera and a hat, I headed out confident I'd capture the season's blooms in their heady perfection. Not long into my journey I came across these exquisite, rain battered peonies. They had been assaulted by the morning's deluge and their heavy, bepetaled heads were resting wearily on the pavement. Perfectly imperfect.
